MPS Monitor Quocirca’s report 2023

MPS Monitor 2.0 supports key cloud printing trends identified by a recent report titled “The Print Security Landscape, 2023”. The report was published by Quocirca, the print industry’s leading source of independent market information and consulting services.

“Quocirca’s Global Print Security Landscape 2023” reveals persistent challenges in securing print infrastructure. Print-related data breaches are widespread, with 61 percent of interview participants reporting at least one data loss in the past 12 months, rising to 67 percent in medium-sized businesses.

Fortunately, print security leaders are mitigating the risks by implementing a range of technology and policy measures that have seen lower levels of data loss and greater confidence among organizations in the security of their print infrastructure.

Both public agencies and private companies are closely examining the potential of the cloud to effectively address challenges related to print management, which, in addition to security, include crucial aspects such as supporting hybrid work models and simplifying maintenance operations, all while meeting sustainability goals.

MPS organizations are at the center of the transition to cloud-based printing, providing support to merchants and resellers to improve service levels, reduce costs and streamline operations, helping to maximize overall service margins. The cloud-centric nature has given MPS Monitor the flexibility to adapt quickly to changes imposed by global business dynamics.

MPS Monitor 2.0 also aligns with several trends identified in the Quocirca report. It offers support for DCAs on various platforms and provides integrated DCAs for most multifunction devices. Finally, Business Intelligence is implemented directly as an integral part of the platform, without requiring external accounts or separate access.
